David Tung Tai Wei

Chairman

Mr. Tung currently serves as a non-executive director at A.P. Moller Capital, and an advisor to GL Capital and Grafine Partners. Previously, Mr. Tung was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group for over 20 years and prior to that, he worked as a banker at Merrill Lynch for 5 years and Goldman Sachs for 10 years.

Ong Chong Tee

Director

Mr. Ong Chong Tee has held various senior roles in the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) over 35 years. He was most recently the Deputy Managing Director (Financial Supervision) before retiring from MAS in 2021. Mr. Ong is currently Chairman of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and is also a member of GIC Risk Committee.

Jean-Marc Poullet

Director

Mr. Poullet is currently Chairman Asia at BURGESS. Previously, he was Senior Partner with McKinsey & Co and held various roles in the past 25 years including in corporate finance, M&A, and Private Equity.

Bob Tan Beng Hai

Director

Mr. Tan is Independent Non-executive Chairman of Jurong Engineering Ltd, SBS Transit Ltd, Ascott Business Trust Management Pte Ltd, Ascott Residence Trust Management Ltd, and Sentosa Development Corporation, and an independent director of Singapore Post Ltd and Sembcorp Marine Ltd. He is also a board member of Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute, NTUC Club Management Council, the Securities Industry Council, and Corporate Governance Advisory Committee of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Sailor Zhong Geng Fa

Director

With over 20 years of experience in the technology space, Mr. Zhong has previously held technology leadership roles in Baidu and China Mobile. His strong business acumen and astute ability to identify market trends have allowed him to successfully lead ChainUp with innovative new applications, robust technical infrastructure, and optimized utilization of digital assets.

Serena Choo Shu Hui

Director

Ms. Choo was an Executive Director at Citi Private Bank, UBS Private Bank and Goldman Sachs. She has over 20 years of experience in financial services in various roles including private banking, institutional client sales, treasury internal audit, and external audit. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Serena Choo Shu Hui

Founder & CEO

Serena is the Founder and CEO of Bedrock. With over 20 years in financial services, Serena was an Executive Director in Citi Private Bank, UBS Private Bank and Banco Santander. Serena has also served institutional clients in HK and Singapore as part of Goldman Sachs Fixed Income Currency and Commodities division. She began her career in London in Ernst & Young before joining Goldman Sachs as an internal auditor. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

John M. Lo

Chief Strategy Officer

John is a seasoned investor having worked at Fidelity International Limited for some 26 years with a career spanning London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. John was a Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for managing institutional portfolios for clients which included sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and wealth managers. In his other role as Head of Equities - Singapore, John spearheaded Fidelity’s investment office in Singapore driving its growth to becoming an important global hub for the firm.

Kevin Er Ker Pin

Chief Operating Officer

Kevin oversees all operational aspects of the business, including client servicing, enterprise risk, and compliance. Prior to Bedrock, Kevin was a client advisor at UBS and a corporate banker at OCBC Bank. Kevin has also worked at the Economic Development Board and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Kevin has a post-graduate degree in Finance from Imperial College London and an undergraduate degree from University College London.

Shawn Tan

Portfolio Manager

Shawn has been investing for the last two decades across multiple market cycles. He managed publicly listed equities on a fundamentally driven absolute return basis at United Overseas Bank, Blackstone Capital, Kelusa Capital (affiliate of Tiger Group), and Thirdrock Capital. He also worked on fixed income, private equity and venture capital investments. He graduated in Political Science and Economics from Northwestern University, has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and has passed all his CFA exams.

Alex Wang Faqiang

Head of Investor Relations

Alex has held various investor relations roles in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Bedrock, Alex was a Director at the Carlyle Group. He also worked at Bain Capital, Deutsche Bank and Campbell Lutyens where he was responsible for developing the respective firm’s client base in SE Asia and Greater China. Alex has an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Liaoning University of Technology.

Andrew McLauchlan

Risk Management

(IT & Cybersecurity)

A seasoned IT and cybersecurity professional, Andrew looks after Bedrock’s IT, information, and cybersecurity risk management. He has over 40 years of experience in financial services and technology consulting with a focus on cybersecurity and digital transformation. Andrew co-founded Redcore Group, a cybersecurity start-up that became a market leader prior to its acquisition by Accenture. Post-acquisition, Andrew was Managing Director at Accenture Singapore, leading the firm’s Asia cybersecurity efforts. Andrew also has over 20 years in banking where he held various roles at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group.

Susan Teh Ning Su

Risk Management (Enterprise)

Susan is responsible for developing and embedding enterprise risk management in Bedrock. Susan has over 15 years of experience at GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, where she was Senior Vice President for operational risk. Immediately prior to Bedrock, Susan established the enterprise risk management functions at a licensed digital assets exchange, and at a marketplace for carbon credits. She began her career as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers where her client portfolio included banks and financial services firms. Susan has an undergraduate degree in accountancy, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
